With the advancement of international next-generation giant optical telescopes, China's ground-based optical astronomy is embracing new development opportunities. To explore the scientific goals, technical challenges, and development pathways of China in this field, Deep Space Technology Center of Tsinghua University intends to host this academic seminar. The conference will focus on the scientific frontiers, key technologies, and international cooperation models in the Thirty-Meter Telescope Era, and conduct in-depth discussions on the future development direction of China's ground-based optical astronomy. You may take a high-speed rail to Yingde West Railway Station or a flight to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. Shuttle service will be provided upon your arrival at the station/airport.
The drive from Yingde West Railway Station to the hotel takes approximately 30 minutes.
The drive from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to the hotel takes approximately 90 minutes.

Conference Fees: No registration fee is required for the conference.
The conference will provide unified arrangement of round-trip transfer services from the airport/station to the conference hotel for free. However, transportation between your place of departure and the conference host city (including but not limited to air tickets, high-speed rail tickets, intercity bus tickets, etc.) must be booked and the relevant expenses borne by participants according to their own itineraries. It is recommended that you plan your itinerary in advance for a better travel experience.
Accommodation during the conference shall be at the participants' own expense. At present, the conference organizer has coordinated with Yingde Jiqingli Xianhu Hotel to secure a preferential contracted rate. You may choose independently according to your needs, or book other accommodation venues by yourself.
