MUST Fellows at Tsinghua University
Applications are invited for a few postdoctoral fellow positions in areas related to large-scale structure, Cosmology, galaxy formation, inter/circumgalactic medium, time-domain Astronomy, milky way, and planet at the Tsinghua University, Department of Astronomy in Beijing, China. Candidates with background in observation or theory are both encouraged to apply. Successful candidates can work independently, and they are strongly encouraged to work with the Science Working Group of the 6.5m MUltiplexed Survey Telescope (MUST). Successful applicants have great chance to participate the future survey design and science application in MUST and CSST.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in physics, astronomy, or a related field. A complete application should include a CV, a list of publications and a statement of previous and future research. The applicant should also arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent to the same email address prior to the deadline. Initial appointment is for two years, renewable for a third to sixth year depending on performance. Successful candidates will be offered internationally competitive salary and subsidized housing. They are normally expected to start at Tsinghua no later than April 15, 2022, although the exact starting date can be negotiated.
